Former Sri Lankan fast bowler Chaminda Vaas has been appointed as the fast bowling coach for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 cricket tournament.
Earlier this month, the Delhi Capitals announced via their social media channels that their current coaching staff would be departing the team ahead of the 2027 season.
Veteran former Sri Lankan cricketer Chaminda Vaas has previously served as a coach for the Sri Lankan national team on several occasions; additionally, he has worked as a fast bowling consultant for the New Zealand and Ireland teams.
