Sri Lanka to Compete for Gold Without Nilakshika and Vishmi

The Sri Lankan team is set to face India in the Asian Games women’s cricket gold medal match without two key batters.
Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu stated at a press conference yesterday that Vishmi Gunaratne and Nilakshika de Silva would not play in the upcoming match.
Athapaththu also mentioned that several other players in the squad are dealing with illnesses and injuries.
However, the Sri Lankan captain emphasized that, despite these challenges, the team is fully committed to competing in order to realize the dream of winning the gold medal.
