Stephen Fleming is a prolific New Zealand cricketer. Ending the most successful and longest-running coach-club relationship in the history of the Indian Premier League, Stephen Fleming and the Chennai Super Kings management have mutually agreed to part ways.
The decision was reached after several rounds of discussions between the two sides.
Fleming first joined the Chennai Super Kings team as a player in the inaugural IPL in 2008 and became their head coach in 2009.
He then led the team for the next 17 years, transforming it into one of the most consistent and respected teams in the history of league cricket. Under the excellent coaching of Stephen Fleming, the Chennai Super Kings team has set many unique records.
