With a strong determination to once again retain their proud crown as the current Asian Twenty20 Cricket Champions, the Sri Lankan women’s cricket team enters this year’s Asia Cup.
Our team, which will enter the field under the strong leadership of Chamari Atapattu, is scheduled to face their first match of this year’s tournament tomorrow. Their first opponents will be the United Arab Emirates (UAE) women’s team.
This is a very crucial match for our players, led by Chamari, to continue their dominance in the Asian cricket field and start the tournament successfully.
