The Sri Lanka team secured a magnificent 9-wicket victory over Pakistan today in the second match of the Under-19 Women’s T20 Tri-Nation Series currently being held in Pakistan.
It is noteworthy that, just as in previous matches, Sanjana Kavindi displayed explosive batting, scoring 61 runs off 46 balls—including eight fours and a six.
Commentators praised Sanjana’s batting performance enthusiastically, noting that it frequently evoked memories of Sanath Jayasuriya’s style of play.
Having won three of the four matches played in the series, Sri Lanka has taken the lead in the points table, while Bangladesh holds second place and hosts Pakistan sit in third.
Each team is scheduled to play two more matches.
