Sri Lanka have managed to remain at 6th place in the 2025-27 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) points table after the second Test against India at the SSC Stadium in Colombo ended in a draw.
The draw means both teams have been awarded 4 points each, and Sri Lanka, who have participated in 6 matches, have a 33.33% bonus percentage with 24 points.
Although the Indian team remains at 5th place, their bonus percentage has dropped from 53.33% to 51.52% after this match, and they have earned 68 points from 11 matches.

Sri Lanka, who were forced to follow-on after trailing by 213 runs in the first innings, managed to escape defeat by scoring 429 for 9 in the second innings due to their combative style of play on the final day.
Sonal Dinusha, who scored 103 runs in the first innings, strengthened Sri Lanka’s innings by scoring 133 runs not out in 264 balls in the second innings.
India won the first Test in Galle by 165 runs to win the two-match Test series 1-0.
