A delegation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in Sri Lanka, including Imran Khwaja and Devajit Sakiya, met President Anura Kumara Dissanayake amid discussions on the future direction of Sri Lankan cricket administration.

The meeting took place during a high-level visit by ICC officials following recent developments in the Sri Lankan cricket administration.

The ICC representatives also held discussions with officials of the newly established Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee at the Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters, as the focus is on governance and structural reforms in Sri Lanka Cricket.

The visit comes after Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage appointed a nine-member Cricket Transformation Committee following the resignation of the previous Sri Lanka Cricket administration.

The Transition Committee, chaired by Eran Wickramaratne, has been tasked with overseeing cricket administration and implementing reforms until new elections are held.
