Marking a unique milestone in the history of Sri Lankan sports, the inaugural Indo-Sri Lanka Deaf Women’s Cricket Tournament is set to be held in Sri Lanka from July 7th to 13th.

This is the first time such a tournament has been held in the history of Sri Lankan sports.

A special discussion on this historic sporting event was held yesterday (22) between the Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket Association and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage.

In addition, the preparations for the 2027 World Cup in Nepal, the Asia Cup Twenty20 (T20I) tournament to be held in Sri Lanka with the participation of 8 countries, and the official registration process of the Deaf Cricket Association were also discussed at length.
