Smriti Mandhana has been appointed as the captain of the Indian women’s cricket team.
This follows Harmanpreet Kaur stepping down from the position.
Mandhana, who made her international debut for India in 2013, has so far played 9 Test matches, 120 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 179 T20 matches.
She also holds the record for the highest number of centuries across all three formats in the history of women’s cricket.
