Charith Asalanka, who won the Man of the Match award for his excellent performance with the ball in the LPL final, has given full credit for his victory to Galle Marvels captain Dasun Shanaka. Speaking after a brilliant final, Asalanka said, “Dassa made me a bowler!” Dasun should get full credit for choosing him as a bowler. He stated that Dasun Shanaka had a clear plan to use Charith’s bowling, especially when the left-handers of the opposing team were batting. Asalanka further said that Dasun entrusted him with the responsibility of bowling the first over even in the final.
