Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to announce that the Hon. Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports,
Sunil Kumara Gamage, has appointed the following members to the new Sri Lanka Cricket
Selection Panel, following the dissolution of the previous selection panel he approved.
The appointments were made pursuant to nominations submitted by Sri Lanka Cricket:
Mr. Kapila Wijegunawardena – Chairman
Mr. Amal Silva – Member
Mr. Brendon Kuruppu – Member
Mr. Waruna Waragoda – Member
Ms. Vanessa De Silva – Member
The above appointments came into effect on 21 May 2026.
