Jack Edwards has been included in the Australian ODI squad for the upcoming series against South Africa.

Edwards is currently in India with the Australia A team and is set to travel from there to join the Australian squad in South Africa. According to Cricket Australia, he offers the team an additional option as an all-rounder.
This change follows the withdrawal of Australian fast bowler Billy Stanlake from the series due to injury; Stanlake sustained a side strain during the second ODI against Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Spencer Johnson has been released from the squad for the South African ODI series and is scheduled to join the Australia A team for their upcoming 50-over matches in India.

The Australia vs. South Africa ODI series matches are scheduled for September 24, September 27, and September 30.
