A 46-year-old man has died after collapsing while batting during a cricket tournament organized by an alumni association of a school in the Beruwala area today.
According to eyewitnesses, the player suddenly collapsed in the middle of the field while batting.

He was immediately taken for medical treatment, but was declared dead.
