Sri Lanka’s Shehan Dilranga has successfully clocked the second-best time by an Asian athlete this year in the Men’s 600m event.
He achieved this milestone by recording a time of 1 minute and 17.44 seconds at the 20th wttk & DEN-EN Club Middle Distance Challenge held in Tokyo, Japan.
Notably, Shehan also shattered the event’s meet record during this race.
His exceptional performance stands out even further as he was an athlete excluded from the recently concluded Commonwealth Games pool.
