Mr. Asanga Chandana Seneviratne has been elected President of the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC Sri Lanka) following the Quadrennial Elections conducted under the supervision of an Independent Election Commission.

Mr. Seneviratne, President of the Sri Lanka Amateur Baseball/Softball Association, secured 16 votes to win the presidency. Meanwhile, presidential candidates Mr. Jaswar Umaru, President of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka, received 11 votes and Mr. Shirantha Peries, Vice President of the National Shooting Sport Federation of Sri Lanka, polled 2 votes.

The election process was conducted under an Independent Election Commission comprising Hon. Justice K. T. Chithrasiri, Hon. Justice P. Ranasinghe, and Mr. Harsha Amarasekera, PC.
