Pakistan Penalized by ICC After Third Test Against England

The ICC has taken steps to deduct 11 World Test Championship (WTC) points from Pakistan following the third Test match against England.
This penalty was imposed because the team failed to complete their allotted overs within the stipulated time during the match.
In addition, the Pakistan team has been fined 50% of their match fee.
They were found to be 11 overs behind the required rate; consequently, 11 points were deducted from their tally in the ICC World Test Championship standings.
As a result, Pakistan currently holds only 5 points from 9 matches played. While their points percentage stood at 14.81% at the conclusion of the third Test, this penalty has caused it to drop to 4.63%.
They currently occupy the bottom spot in the points table. Due to their failure to bowl the required number of overs within the allotted time, they have now lost a total of 19 points in the current championship cycle. The Pakistan team was defeated 0-3 in the Test series against England.
