The European T20 Premier League – ETPL 2026 has begun, marking a new chapter in the game of cricket in Europe.
The inaugural T20 tournament will be held from August 26 to September 20 and is designed to further advance the game of cricket in Europe.
The ETPL, which will feature six teams from Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands, will feature 32 matches.
Amsterdam Flames, Rotterdam Dockers, Dublin Guardians, Belfast Wolves, Glasgow Cosmic and Edinburgh Castle Rockers are competing for the title this year.
The tournament, which will feature both established international cricketers and emerging European cricketers, aims to create a new platform for T20 cricket in Europe.
The final match of the tournament is scheduled to be held on September 20.
Accordingly, the European T20 Premier League 2026 will go down in history as the latest step for Europe to join the rapidly expanding wave of Twenty20 cricket across the world.
