Rajasthan Royals have named Sri Lanka T20 captain Dasun Shanaka as England’s replacement for Sam Curran for the 2026 IPL.
The team announced that Curran was ruled out due to an injury before the tournament.
The team’s director of cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, said that Shanaka has been brought in as an all-rounder to maintain team balance.
Rajasthan Royals’ opening match is scheduled to be played against Chennai Super Kings in Guwahati on March 30.
