Afghanistan debutant Hasan Isaac made his Bangladesh Premier League debut and created a mature innings with his father Mohammad Nabi, marking a historic father-son milestone in top-flight T20 cricket.

Isaac scored a brilliant 92 against Dhaka Capitals.

The 19-year-old showed composure and power beyond his years, and used the right batting technique, according to critics.

The milestone was further enhanced by the fact that Isaac received his playing cap from his father Mohammad Nabi before he went out to bat.

They thus became the first father-son duo to share the pitch in a major franchise T20 league.
