The 3rd T20I between hosts West Indies and Australia ended in a comfortable six-wicket win for Australia at Basseterre.

Batting first at the invitation of Australia, West Indies managed to score 214 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Shai Hope, who scored his maiden T20I century, scored an unbeaten 102 off 57 balls. Brandon King scored 62 (36).

Australia easily chased down the West Indies’ mammoth target of 215 runs in 16.1 overs for the loss of four wickets.

Tim David, who played a brilliant innings, scored the third-fastest century against a Test team in T20Is, taking just 37 balls to reach it. It also included 11 sixes.

He also held the record for the fastest century by an Australian in T20Is. When the Australians needed four runs to win the match, Tim David needed just two runs to reach his century.

In such an occasion, Tim David managed to complete his century as well as the match win by hitting a four.
