Everyone is aware of the heated exchange of words and clash that took place on the field between Sri Lankan fast bowler Asitha Fernando and Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal during the second Test match held at the SSC Stadium in Colombo. Asitha said something after dismissing Jaiswal, Jaiswal was seen turning around and coming face to face with Asitha.
Speaking about this incident, veteran Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle posted a video on ‘Cricbuzz’ and said, “Even if Asith provoked, Jaiswal should have avoided it without responding to it”.
However, Jaiswal has given a sharp reply to the video criticizing him by commenting directly on his official Instagram account. He said, “If you don’t know exactly what he (Asitha) said, please don’t pass judgment on it. We need to make them understand that if anyone crosses the line, this India will fight back.” – Yashasvi Jaiswal
