A Test cap worn by former Australian cricket great Sir Donald Bradman has been sold at auction in Gold Coast, Australia.
Sir Donald Bradman wore the cap during India’s first Test series as a sovereign nation from 1947 to 1948.
Bradman later gifted the cap to Ranga Sohni, a former Indian opening bowler.
The cap bears the names D.G. Bradman and S.W. Sohni, and the Australian crest is inscribed below it with the date “1947–48”.
This helmet was sold at auction for 460,000 Australian dollars.
