The International Cricket Council has officially announced that Bangladesh has been removed from the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Accordingly, Scotland has been called up in place of Bangladesh
Bangladesh cricketer Mustafizur Rahman has refused to tour India for the T20 World Cup this year, citing security reasons, after being dropped from the Kolkata Knight Riders squad for the Indian Premier League.
They have requested that they be allowed to participate in it in another country outside India.
Following a discussion and vote among the council’s board members, the International Cricket Council rejected Bangladesh’s request.
