Sri Lanka Under-19 finished another positive five match T20 series with a substantial eight wicket win over the visiting Malaysia women’s team in the fifth encounter played at the Colts ground yesterday.

The lead of the host side’s triumph was Sanjana Kavindi who made a top score of 45 with five boundaries and shared a valuable 72 ball partnership of 73 for the second wicket with skipper Manudi Nanayakkara who made an unbeaten 24.

The host side chasing 83 runs for win raced to the target in the 14th over.

Previous day Malaysia women taking first lease of the wicket helped by a top knock of 34 from Mahirah Izzati made a score of 82 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs.
