After Jaiswal was dismissed by Asitha Fernando for 45, Asitha made a statement regarding his dismissal as he was walking towards the stadium.
Jaiswal immediately responded to Asitha’s statement, and a heated exchange of words took place between the two, which was later defused.
The incident, which took place at a time when the Sri Lankan bowlers were trying to start the collapse of the Indian innings, further increased the heat of the match.
