The start time for all 19 ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 matches has been revised due to the dangerous UAE heat, the Emirates Cricket Board announced on Saturday (30 August).

All 19 matches in the tournament detained in the T20 format and to be played across Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 9-28 September, were originally scheduled to begin at 7.30 p.m. IST (6 p.m. IST).

Though, the start time for 18 matches has now been pushed back, by half an hour, to 8 p.m. IST (6.30 p.m. local time).

Furthermore, the UAE versus Oman match, scheduled for 15 September at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, will be a day match, which will begin at 5.30 p.m. IST (4 p.m. local time).

World champions and Asia Cup title-holders India will kick off their campaign against hosts UAE in Dubai on 10 September.

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will play host to the India-Pakistan showdown on 14 September.

India conversely, will not host or tour Pakistan for bilateral contests, but their athletes and teams can participate in multi-nation events that also involve Pakistan like the forthcoming Men’s Asia Cup.

India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman are in Group A, while Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong form Group B.

The Asia Cup begins on 9 September, with Afghanistan facing Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi.
