Chasing a 129-run target, the home team crossed the line in 15.3 overs, losing just three wickets.
Opener Sahibzada Farhan high scored with 80 off just 45 deliveries which included six boundaries and five sixes.
For Sri Lanka, Dushmantha Chameera got 2/29 while skipper Dasun Shanaka claimed one wicket.
Previously after opting to bat first, Sri Lanka managed to post only 128/7 in the allotted 20 overs.
Janith Liyanage top-scored with an unbeaten 41 runs, while Kusal Perera contributed 25 and Kamindu Mendis added 22 runs.
From Pakistan’s bowling unit, Mohammad Nawaz got three wickets. Salman Mirza, Faheem Ashraf, and Abrar Ahmed picked up one wicket each.
