Ahead of the second Test between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo today, players from both countries observed a minute’s silence in memory of the death of Acharya Nanda Malaniya, who was known as the “Yashora of the Nation”.
Today is also special as it is her birthday.
Today is the third day of the three-day mourning period declared by the government for the death of Nanda Malaniya.
