A welcoming ceremony was held in Matara for Viran Chamuditha, who represented the Sri Lankan team that participated in the 2026 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Viran Chamuditha studies at St. Servatius College, Matara.
He scored 310 runs in this Under-19 Cricket World Cup, including two centuries.
In the match against Japan, he scored 192 runs, becoming the highest scorer in an innings in the history of the Under-19 World Cup.
