The United States has also qualified for the 2026 Under-19 World Cup. That was through the Americas Regional Qualifiers.

Accordingly, all 16 countries that will play in the tournament have been selected.

The tournament is scheduled to be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia, and as a full member country, Zimbabwe qualified directly for the World Cup as the host country.

However, as a non-full member country, Namibia could not qualify directly for the World Cup, despite being the host country, and had to play in the African Regional Qualifiers. However, Tanzania qualified for the World Cup from that tournament. Afghanistan qualified for the World Cup from the Asian Regional Qualifiers, Japan from the East Asia-Pacific Qualifiers, and Scotland from the European Regional Qualifiers.

India, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa and West Indies, who finished in the top 10 of the 2024 U-19 World Cup, have also qualified directly for the 2026 stage.
