We have seen that the Sri Lankan cricket audience is very disappointed with the game and the Sri Lankan team due to the poor performance and heavy defeats that Sri Lankan team has participated in in the matches before the T20 World Cup. This was strongly seen through social media and as a result, many people talked about boycotting the first T20 match in which Sri Lanka team will participate. But we could see that the audience who loves the game still came to the field to encourage the Sri Lankan team without any interruptions.
