The Sri Lanka Women’s Team defeated Bangladesh Women by 4 wickets in a crucial Group B match of the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup 2026 to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
With this victory, Sri Lanka was able to secure its place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Sri Lanka captain Chamari Atapattu won the toss and elected to field first.
Accordingly, the Bangladesh Women’s Team, which batted first, scored 114 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Sobhana Mostary scored 34 runs and Dilara Akter scored 26 runs for Bangladesh.
