Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga is being withdrawn from the ongoing ODI series between the touring Sri Lanka team and England and recalled to the island.
Reports indicate that he is being recalled due to a minor injury.
Cricket sources stated that the injury affects his back and neck area. Wanindu is returning to Sri Lanka specifically to prepare for upcoming tournaments, including the tri-nation ODI series scheduled to be held in Pakistan next month.
