CCC directed by a swashbuckling undefeated knock of 157 in only 117 balls that included 15 boundaries and nine towering sixes by Pawan Ratnayake was supported by Ashen Bandara who made an unbeaten 60 with four boundaries.

The pair shared a huge unbroken third wicket partnership of 224 runs for CCC – chasing 240 runs for victory – as they raced to the target with ease in the 36th over.

In the meantime, Ace Capital CC coasted to a comfortable 98-run win. They were steered by Sammu Ashan, who made 62 with four boundaries and a six and Wanuja Sahan, who cracked 60, which had five boundaries and two sixes.

The pair also put on a appreciated 83-run stand for the fifth wicket to help their side make a modest score of 222 runs.

Moors SC in their in reply were made to struggle for their runs as they found the bowling trio of Sithum Dissanayake who grasped four scalps, Nimsara Atharagalla and Thanuka Dabare who shared five wickets, too hot to handle and succumbed for a low score of 124 runs.
