Yvan David, one of Sri Lanka’s leading FIA Formula 3 drivers, has once again shown his mettle at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
The 18-year-old Yvan improved from 28th to 19th in the Sprint on Saturday. However, he was forced to retire from the Feature race after an accident on the first lap.
Having now completed four weekends of the FIA F3 series, Yvan David said that he is learning more about the car with each race and is moving forward with great confidence. Yvan’s next battle is scheduled to take place at the famous Silverstone circuit, coinciding with the Formula 1 British Grand Prix weekend.
