A meeting was held recently between Cuban Ambassador Patricia Lazara Pego Guevara and the board of directors of the National Sports Academy.
The discussion, which was attended by the Director of the National Sports Academy, Sajith Jayalal, and the board of directors, further discussed the educational activities related to sports carried out by the Sports Academy and the support that can be provided to Cuba in this regard.
Attention was also drawn to the implementation of the agreement signed in 2012 between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Cuba regarding the development of sports in the two countries, which is already in force.
