Women’s Handball Team Ranks 6th in Asia

The women’s handball team, which was not ranked anywhere in the international arena, had finished sixth in Asia at the end of this tournament.
The players said that the opportunity to participate in this tournament under the guidance of the Ministry of Sports enabled the Sri Lankan women’s handball team, which was not ranked anywhere in Asia, to reach 6th place. The players also stated that they will continue to strive to take Sri Lanka further forward on the international stage.
