The Sri Lanka Netball Team recently managed to mark its first victory in the Asian Cup Netball Tournament. Our players started their winning journey in the tournament by winning a clear 66-52 victory against the Malaysian team.
The Sri Lankan team, which played with high self-confidence and good team spirit throughout the match, successfully controlled the challenges posed by the Malaysian players. It was especially noteworthy that our girls were able to take control of the match from the beginning, implementing both offensive and defensive tactics correctly.
This opening victory, which reaffirms Sri Lanka’s strong position in the Asian netball arena, will undoubtedly be a great boost to the team’s morale for the upcoming matches. By maintaining this winning mentality throughout the tournament, our team has every chance of winning the Asian crown again.
