Kevan Samarajiwa has once again brought glory to Sri Lanka on the international motor racing stage.

Kevan Samarajiwa, successfully elevated Sri Lanka’s profile in the international motor racing arena through his outstanding performance at the ‘Malaysia Festival of Speed ​​2026,’ held from September 4 to 6 at the renowned Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
Kevan competed in two categories throughout the event. Demonstrating dominance from the practice rounds of the Karting Slalom event, he secured first place (P1) in both the Senior and Open categories. Maintaining this high level of performance through to the final race, he secured second place (P2), thereby achieving another prestigious podium finish for Sri Lanka on the international stage.
Additionally, competing in the Gymkhana event driving a Perodua MYVI, Kevan secured 5th place (P5) in the first qualifying round and 8th place (P8) in the second round. Although he dropped to 10th place (P10) during the first elimination round, he fought back with unwavering determination to reach 5th place (P5) in the second round. Ultimately, he succeeded in securing 4th place (P4) in the Gymkhana Male Solo final.
