A meeting between the heads of sports departments of media institutions and the Minister of Sports.

A meeting between the heads of sports departments of electronic and print media and the Minister of Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage was held today (24) at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakaratne also participated in this meeting.

The Minister briefed the sports editors and heads of sports departments of electronic media on the work done so far as the Ministry of Sports since the current government came to power and the programs expected to be carried out in the future for the development of sports.

The views and suggestions of journalists were also discussed at this meeting, and journalists were informed about the challenges facing the Ministry of Sports.
