The weightlifting competition of the 50th National Sports Festival concluded this past weekend.
A notable highlight was the performance of Chaturika Priyanthi, who competed in the +86kg weight category and established three new Sri Lankan records.
She lifted 85kg in the snatch and 110kg in the clean and jerk, achieving a total lift of 195kg—setting three new Sri Lankan records in the process
