A junior international badminton tournament to be held in Thailand by the Badminton Asia Association is scheduled to be held from May 19-24 and the last date to apply for it is April 21, 2026.
Although the parents of the players have been making great efforts to get their children to participate in this tournament with their own financial contributions for the past few days, a situation has arisen that it is not possible to apply for it due to the problems existing in the badminton associations.
The President of the Sri Lanka Badminton Association says that this should be done by the school association.
However, the School Badminton Association says that it is not their responsibility.
In such a situation, an environment has been created where children lose the competition, no matter how talented they are, and no matter how much money their parents find and contribute financially.
