Let’s all unite for Tawi Samaraweera, who has taken Sri Lanka to the number one spot in the world!

Tawi Samaraweera, who is currently ranked number one in the world table tennis rankings for the under-11 age group, is a true talent who has brought pride to our country. This little player is ready to participate in several upcoming world ranking tournaments organized by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
Next week, i.e. from August 25 to 31, Tawi will face the tournaments in Slovenia (Otočec) and Croatia (Varaždin), and then the WTT Youth Contender Tbilisi 2026 tournament in Georgia from September 27 to 30.
But the sad thing is that he has not yet received proper sponsorship to even get the necessary flight tickets to participate in these tournaments. Preserving this wonderful talent, a future Olympic medal hope that has placed Sri Lanka’s name at the top of the world, is a national mission that goes beyond mere assistance!
