Yvan David makes history as the first Sri Lankan to finish second in a Formula 3 race

Yvan David made history as the first Sri Lankan to finish second in a Formula 3 race.
He finished second in the Silverstone round of the 2026 Formula 3 Championship in Britain.
The race consisted of 18 laps and Yvan finished it in 33 minutes and 8 seconds.
Accordingly, Yvan will make history as the first Sri Lankan to achieve that feat.
The next round of the 2026 Formula 3 Championship will be held in Belgium from July 17 to 19.
