Uva Province wins men’s cross-country championship at 50th National Games; Central Province wins women’s championship

The “National Cross Country Championship” held in conjunction with the 50th Golden Jayanti National Games was held this morning at the Nuwara Eliya Racecourse in a grand manner

In this decisive competition held between 122 of the best runners representing all 9 provinces of the country, Uva Province won the overall men’s championship while Central Province won the overall women’s championship.
