The Sri Lanka Air Force netball players showcased outstanding performances at the 2026 State Service Netball Championship, which commenced on 16 September 2026 at the Valarmathi Sports Ground, Chavakachcheri, Jaffna, securing their dominance throughout the tournament.
Organised by the State Service Netball Sports Association, the tournament featured 52 teams representing 18 Government Institutions. The Sri Lanka Air Force ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams delivered exceptional performances, securing remarkable victories in both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Divisions.
Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, the Air Force ‘A’ team emerged as the A Division League Champions following a highly competitive series of matches. In addition, the team secured the A Division Knockout Runner-up position.
Meanwhile, the Air Force ‘B’ team also produced an outstanding performance, claiming the B Division League Championship. They further secured the B Division Knockout Runner-up position, bringing further distinction and honour to the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The Awards Night of the tournament, where trophies and certificates were presented to the winners, was held in Jaffna on 19 September 2026.
