Thawi wins gold and silver medals at the Youth Table Tennis Championship held in Kosovo.

Sri Lanka’s Thawi Samaraweera won the gold medal in the Under-11 category at the Youth Table Tennis Championship held in Kosovo.
Thawi also won the silver medal in the Under-13 category at the tournament organized by the World Table Tennis Federation.
Thawi, who is still 11 years old, is also the first Sri Lankan to reach the final of two age groups at a World Youth Table Tennis Championship.
He is also the number 1 player in the Under-11 table tennis world rankings.
