Sri Lanka’s Ayomal Akalanka gained the silver medal in the Men’s 400m Hurdles event at the South Asian Athletics Championships 2025 at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Morabadi, Ranchi.
Akalanka secured the silver medal after finishing the race with a timing of 50.29s behind India’s Mori Ruchit.
Ruchit gained the gold medal after clocking 50.10s.
India’s Karna Bag won the bronze medal.
