Sri Lanka won the silver medal in the women’s medley relay event at the Asian under 18 Athletics Championships, make safe a new national youth record at 2:14.25 minutes.
The 4-day tournament, which was organised by the Asian Athletics Federation and detained in Qatif, Saudi Arabia,concluded yesterday (18), bringing together the continent’s most promising young athletes.
Throughout the tournament, Sri Lanka earned a total of 8 medals, placing 9th in the overall medal standings. These 8 medals consist of a gold medal, 3 silvers and 4 bronze medals.
