After winning gold in Jakarta (2018) and successfully defending that title in Hangzhou (2022), Toor has once again made it to the podium. This marks his third consecutive Asian Games medal—a testament to his remarkable consistency. His career-best throw stands at 21.77 meters, a national record set in 2023.
Hailing from an ordinary family in Moga, Punjab, Tejinderpal Singh Toor’s athletic journey began with a transition from cricket to shot put.
